Easter is a dying holiday. Nobody other than little kids and CVS executives really gives a shit about the Easter eggs and the Easter bunny bullshit. Not in the way that people are sucked into caring about Christmas at least. Christmas has an entire month by the balls, what does Easter have? Nothing that comes even close.
First off, the fact that Easter doesn't land on the same day every year crushes its stock value right off the bat. Hell, some years it's in March and others it's in April. Pick a side Easter, come on. You can't have a month by the balls like your buddy Christmas does if your flip-flopping all the time like that.
But to make matters even worse, it always falls on a Sunday, so there's never a day off for the 9-to-5ers. Talk about a recipe for disaster if your a holiday. All anyone wants in this crazy world is a federally insured holiday, and Easter cock-blocks itself from even having that option.
If Easter wants to have any chance at making it in the future, it's gonna need a makeover. It's doubtful the geezers running the church will want anything to do with that, so in my eyes Easter is old news.

Our Trivial Matters
To Whom It May Concern,
Yes, I know. Yet another ho-hum blog. One more to add to the millions upon millions already out there in the world.
Will anyone really care? Will anyone take the time to read what's to come on this site?
Probably not. And that's okay.
Whether or not this site sees substantial traffic is beside the point. I won't be writing on here to make a buck. I don't see ad revenues in this sites future. A buyout from a larger company isn't at all likely. To be perfectly blunt, I doubt many people will care about this site and it's content at all.
It will merely be a space where my friends and I can write what we feel like writing about. It will act as a common where a collection of stories can be gathered and put on record. From the pointless to the profound. From the short -and-sweet to the long-and-detailed. From the beautiful to the grotesque. This is where the tales will be told.
Whether or not anyone out there in the world cares about these tales is their own trivial matter.
God bless,
Zeta Moreno
